The state and your local county require additional time to complete processing. During peak renewal times, processing time may take even longer when applying by mail.

- Choose a notary package and include a check with your order
- Mail us your completed application, order form, and payment
- After you are approved as a notary public and send us a copy of your commission letter, we will ship your supplies within 5 business days
Florida Notary Qualifications
To become or renew as a FLORIDA Notary Public, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a legal resident of the State of Florida
- Be a citizen of the United States or lawfully admitted for permanent residence
- If applicant is a permanent resident alien, a recorded Declaration of Domicile must be filed with the application
- The residence required for appointment must be maintained throughout the term of appointment
- Be able to read and write the English language
- Education course required for new notaries only, 3 hour course within 1 year of applying
