What is Errors and Omissions Insurance?

E&O Insurance is an affordable risk policy that protects the notary’s personal and business assets from lawsuits resulting from unintentional errors.  For less than 10 cents a day, you can feel secure in knowing you will be provided with expert legal defense and your court costs, fees and claims will be covered up to your policy limit.

There is no deductible and our E&O insurance protects you for the duration of your notary commission.  Enjoy peace of mind with E&O Insurance that is backed by the financial strength of RLI Insurance Company, rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company.

Why do I need Errors and Omissions Insurance?

E&O insurance is useful whenever you provide a service that a client could file a claim.  No matter how baseless the claim, it could cost thousands of dollars in legal fees.  This can be avoided with the purchase of an E&O insurance policy.

Even if you already own a Personal or Business Owners Policy, you are not protected from lawsuits. E&O insurance is necessary for proper protection against professional liability claims.

If you are interested in becoming a remote or electronic notary, most states require additional bond coverage and E&O insurance.  Notary Express can help fill any coverage gaps and keep you protected.  Check out our notary packages and choose the coverage that is right for you and your business.
