No extra application steps are required.
If you have already filed your notary application and are commissioned as a Missouri Notary Public, choose the Self-File notary package at checkout. This option will not include the state filing fee, but will have everything you need for your notary commission.

If you have completed your application with the state and are a commissioned notary, the standard self-file notary package cost is $74.99 and the deluxe self-file notary package cost is $99.99. See features above for package details excluding the state filing fee. The self-file package options will be available at checkout.

Missouri Notary Training
To become a Missouri Notary you will need to take the online training course or written training course provided by the state. The written training course will be sent to you upon completion of your notary package purchase. Or you can access the training with the link below.
Missouri Notary Qualifications
To become or renew as a MISSOURI Notary Public, you must:
Missouri Residents
Be at least 18 years of age
Be a registered voter of the county within and for which the applicant is to be commissioned, or a resident alien of the U.S.
Appy for the county in which they legally reside and be commissioned for this same county
Be able to read and write the English language
Must not have had a commission revoked during the past 10 years
Missouri Non Residents
Be at least 18 years of age
Employed in Missouri and use the notary seal in the course of their employment only
Have an employee address in the county for which they are commissioned in Missouri
Be able to read and write the English language
Must not have had a commission revoked during the past 10 years
Must authorize the Missouri Secretary of State as their agent and representative to accept service of any process or service of any notice or demand required or permitted by law to be served upon them
