Apply Online
After you complete the purchase of your notary package, you can complete and submit your notary application on the State of Indiana’s website. Have your new notary bond documentation handy when you start your application.
Notary Qulifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States
- Be a resident or primarily employed in the State of Indiana
- Be able to read and write the English language
- Possess an Indiana driver's license, Indiana non-driver ID or other acceptable form to prove IN residence or employment
- Not have a conviction or civil ruling involving deceit, dishonesty or fraud and not have a conviction where the sentence imposed exceeded six months
